12/30 - Novice Championships - Ocean Breeze
Miles Sinclair makes his track debut to take 2nd in the 55 meters with a time of 6.85. He would later combine with Nico Vitigliano, Vincent Giuffredo, Andrew DiDio to not only win the Novice 4x200 but break the meet record that was held by our team back in 2020 with a 1:35.85. The 4x800 takes 2nd on a huge kick by Michael Sclafani who ran 2:08.1. Vincent Giuffredo jumps a PR of 5'-8" for 4th place. The Frosh 4x200 earns 5th place medals. The Varsity 4x800 debuted with an 8:03.69 FAT - US #3 and #2 in NY state. Jason Sarnicola (2:06.6), Chris Perez (1:58.4 PR), Michael Pira (2:01.6 PR), and Adam Vitale (1:57.0) combine to run 8:03.69 FAT. Pira set a TEN second PR!
On the girls side, Kaylin Caruso made her hurdle season debut making the final with a 10.40 PR. The 4x200 (3rd - 1:55.67 & 5th - 1:59.91) and 4x400 (3rd - 4:31.65) earn medals.
