5/16 - NY/BQ City Championship BOYS - Icahn Stadium
Jason Sarnicola got things kicked off for the boys with an impressive win in the 3,000 Steeple. His 9:41.72 is an 11 second PR and breaks the previous school record held by Dom Palermo '19 by 7 seconds. It's also the 7th Fastest in S.I. History. Adam Vitale takes control of the 1,600 and runs 60 point on his last lap for a win in 4:21.38 FAT. The 4x800 doubles up for our 3rd City Championship & NY Sectional title of the day with a 8:07.59. Frosh Dom Scibilia gets closer to a sub 5 min mile with a 7 second PR of 5:06.44. Vin Guiffredo takes 3rd in the high jump. The team finishes in 4th place just 1 point away from a City Championship plaque.
