Frosh/Soph
Intersectionals - Armory
The team battles valiantly
amongst the CHSAA's top teams. The sophs battle throughout the meet and at
several points led the meet.
In the end, the sophs finished in 3rd earning a team plaque. It tops our
previous top finish of 9th place in 1999 & 2007. Nick Italiano
is the "City Champion" in the 600! Nick is St. Joe's First Ever Soph
Indoor City Champion!Dan Zaccariello (1600) and Mike Baio
(1000) earn silver medals. Mike Stabile scores in the 55 and 300.
The frosh are paced by a 3rd place 4x200 relay of Chris Murphy,
George Setteducato, Alec Favale and Vinnie Aceto. Bobby Mirfield runs real
well in the frosh 55 HH earning a 3rd place medal.
In total, 15 city championship medals are earned deeming the future very bright.
