5/7 - Frosh Island Champs - Farrell H.S.
Phenomenal performances lift the Viking Frosh to the Island Championship.  Being down by as many as 10 pts midway through the
 meet, the frosh respond with a major effort the rest of the way.  Meena Farid comes through big by winning the Island
Championship in the discus.  Adam Civitano runs a huge 400 IH on the double and Alec Favale speeds his way through the
100 and 200.  Vin Aceto runs a fast last 200 to take 2nd and Alex Civitano does the distance double.  Coach Sekzer's pole
vaulters step up real big by going 2-3-4-6.  The IH crew follows Coach Mancusi's strategy in dominating fashion.  33 PR's by
30 athletes!  St. Joe's makes a resounding comeback to the FIELD EVENTS!
