The action got started quickly for the Vikings on Day One as John Cambio led a 2-3-4 finish in the 400 IH. Robbie Guidicipietro continued the momentum by winning the 3000 steeplechase for the second year in a row. At the end of Day 1, it was Sea 29, MSIT 19, Wagner 10.
On Day 2, Guidicipietro sat and kicked for a win in the 3,200 meters for his second island title in as many days. Nick Velez won the 1600 and later came back to win the 800. Mike DiBiase pulled off an upset and won the high jump with a personal best of 6'-3". James Mahoney had a big day finishing 2nd in the 100 and 5th in the 200. The relays were exceptional as we scored in the 4x100 (2nd and 6th), 4x400 (5th) and 4x800 (5th)
