11/14 - CHSAA Catholic State Championships - VCP
Soph Joey Wilson paces the varsity with a 4th place finish in the "B" race en route to an 18 second PR. Junior Joe Pecoraro runs 15:12 good enough for a 36 second PR.

11/7 - CHSAA Frosh/Soph Catholic State Intersectionals - VCP
UPSET CITY! After trailing Fordham Prep & Regis by 40 points in mid-October and 15 points at the NYC Championships; the frosh save their best effort of the season for their last frosh XC race. A third place finish behind only St. Anthony's & Chaminade of Long Island leave the Vikings as the top team from NYC! Today's 3rd place finish is the second best in Sea history! Matthew Carraciolo rebounds in a big way to lead the "A" squad with a 10th place finishing time of 9:27. Brendan Yue paces the "B" squad to 2nd place behind St. Anthony's.
   Dylan Doskocil runs a valiant race just losing on a finishing kick for 2nd in the Soph Championship race. Joey Wilson breaks 15 minutes for the first time! The team finishes in 6th place in the team scoring.

11/4 - Frosh Staten Island CHSAA Champs - Ocean Breeze Park
Shawn Hartnett and Kyle Bille battle is out until the very end for a big 1-2 finish. Connor Galanaugh runs a big race to step up as the #5 man. The "A" squad has their tightest 5 man spread of the season with a 28 second compression. The "B" guys are paced by Toni Felski and record a 36 second 5 man spread. Major PR's set by 23/29 guys.
10/31 - Varsity & JV NY/BQ Sectionals - Van Cortlandt Park
    Dylan Doskocil wins the NYC Soph XC Championship!
10/24 - Frosh/Soph NYC Championships - Ocean Breeze Park
Asserting himself from the gun; Doskocil is the 5th Viking to win a Soph Sectional XC crown joining Ralph Scalici (1989), Joe DePalma (1990), Matt Lingeza (1992) and Daniel Zaccariello (2008). Joey Wilson cracks a top 5 finish.
The Frosh are simply outstanding today with 27/28 recording PR's and many in a big way. In the "A" race, newly minted frosh leader Matt Caracciolo busts out with a 4th place finish and 47 second PR in 11:13. He crushes the school record that was set last week by Shawn Hartnett by 42 seconds! Shawn Hartnett and Vin DeGrado would also slip under the old school record as well. Lucas Sorrentino and Kyle Bille run big races with PR's of 29 seconds and 44 seconds respectively. Team-wise the Frosh place 3rd in both the NYC and NY Sectional team races. In the "B" race, Connor Galanaugh almost steals the race with a 2nd place finish and 41 second PR of 12:12. Toni Felski continues his hot running with almost another 1 minute PR. Big PR's are set in the "B" races as well as Gavin Byrnes (-1:14 secs), Justin Kane (-1:04 secs), Jonathan Keiling (-2:13 secs), Joseph Oliva (-1:10secs), Kevin Hanna (-1:12 secs), Josh Morkin (-2:00 secs) and Harry Paletto (-5:09 secs) crush their previous best times.

10/17 - Marvin Johnson Memorial Meet - Ocean Breeze Park
Soph Dylan Doskocil ties his varsity course record with a 13:47 clocking over a flooded Ocean Breeze course. Junior Ralph Arpaio paces the JV. Shawn Hartnett and Matthew Caracciolo break Vin DeGrado's Frosh 3,000 meter school record with times of 11:57 and 12:00 respectively. Connor Galanaugh leads the "B" team. Both the "A" and "B" teams take 3rd place to strong Fordham Prep and Regis squads. BIG PR's set by Antoni Felski (-1:14 secs), Joe Oliva (-1:45 secs) and Kevin Hanna (-2:09 secs)
10/10 - CHSAA Chris Mancusi Invitational - Ocean Breeze Park
FINALLY!
After over 7 months without any competitions, some semblance of "normalcy" as our league contests XC in small, broken up meets all over NYC/Westchester/Long Island. Many thanks to CHSAA commissioner George Febles for working on the logistics and our friends at Ocean Breeze for laying out a new 3000/4000 meter course on the grounds near the Ocean Breeze Indoor track complex
   The freshmen get things kicked off with a convincing win over Xavier, Farrell and Cathedral Prep. Vin DeGrado wins the "A" race and our 5 finishers all place in the top 6 in the race with a near perfect 19 point score. The "B" guys are led by Dean DelPriore who takes 5th place and leads the team to first place as well over Xavier H.S.
    Sophs Dylan Doskocil and Joey Wilson lead the varsity guys as the team shakes off the rust in their first hard effort in months.
