Steven Anzalone gets the outdoor season underway with a gold medal winning performance in the 400 IH. His 58.93 FAT time is a two second personal best and #1 NYS. Michael Kieran is 3rd in the 3200 meters.The Frosh 4x400 takes 5th place behind both Jake Panzella (59.9) and Vincent Masters (59.8) who both break 60 in their first ever 400's. Frosh Tom Napoli sets a 6 second PR with a 64.0. In the Invitational SMR, the relay takes 2nd behind big 200 PR's by Hudson Scanni and Jason Marchese. Scanni is the first Viking in 2 years to break 23 seconds. Soph Jason Marchese, in his first meet all year, after a long bout with pneumonia, runs 23.6 in his debut. Some nice efforts in very cold and windy conditions.
