4/22 - BIG BLUE TRACK & FIELD CLASSIC - St Joseph Sea H.S.
What an awesome day of track & field at Sea! So many thanks for all of our great athletes and their parents for volunteering and doing the "heavy lift" to put together such a smooth meet! Many thanks to our great alumni who donated so much!
It was a GREAT day for our team. Sam Walz smashes the school record and ties the STATEN ISLAND RECORD in the 100 - 12.24 FAT. The Girls 800 SMR takes 3rd establishing a school record and is #2 in SI History! The 1600 SMR wins and breaks the school record - 4:17.67.
The boy got things kicked off by winning the Soph 4x800 and Soph 4x400 races in exciting finishes with eight different athletes! The Soph 4x800 not only broke the school record but broke the meet record by 7 seconds with an 8:25.58! Dylan Doskocil wins the Varsity 2,000 Steeple! Shane McAnuff wins the Soph Shot with a toss of 39'-5.25"
